Welcome.

I'm Rabbi Daniel S. Brenner, and for the past ten years I've been keeping track of various aspects of my work and my life on this site, Reb Blog. The logo of Reb Blog (above) features the late Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan z'l (1881-1983) founder of Reconstuctionism, whose evolutionary approach to Judaism guides much of my thinking.

Please feel free to send me an email at

Enjoy.

Embracing Life

Embracing Life
In 2002, I served as the lead author on this work on palliative care. It has now been re-printed. If you or someone in your life is facing serious illness, this little book may be a big help.

Believer Beware

Believer Beware
My performance piece "Please Don't Feed the Prophet" appears in this irreverent collection from Beacon Press.

What We Brought Back

What We Brought Back
I penned the introduction to this wonderful work edited by Wayne Hoffman and published by Toby Press
